Sezen Karakas — Concert Pianist & Piano Teacher

Sezen Karakas, born in Ankara in 1998, began her formal piano training at the age of eleven at the State Conservatory of Hacettepe University. At sixteen, she made her debut as a soloist with Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 20 in D minor alongside the Ingenium Academy Orchestra in the United Kingdom.

She went on to study at the Mozarteum University Salzburg with Prof. Claudius Tanski and completed her Bachelor of Music at the HfMDK Frankfurt under Alexej Gorlatch, Christopher Park and Dmitry Ablogin. Her outstanding achievements earned her the Deutschlandstipendium scholarship in 2018 and 2019.

Today she combines both worlds: an active concert career — and piano lessons that pass this stage experience on.
